Pellets are sold both in bags and in
bulk. If they are sold in bulk, the pellets move across a conveyer belt and
are dumped into an overhead certified scale and weighed. After weighing, the
pellets are dropped into our tanker trailers for delivery.
Pellets are also bagged in both 80 and 50lb bags. The pellets come out of the
bin and are dropped into a net weigh bagger which weighs the specified amount
of pellets based on the bag size and then fills the individual bag. After the
bag is filled, a conveyer takes it over to a sewing machine where the top of
the bag is sewn closed. They are then stacked on pallets for
storage and future delivery.
